Timothée Chalamet & Armie Hammer Confirmed in 'Call Me by Your Name' 2
It's happening!!! And it's gonna be gay and glorious!
Grab your peaches girls and gays, because the upcoming film sequel to 2017's critically acclaimed queer love story Call Me by Your Name has officially confirmed the return of its two lead stars Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer!
Speaking to Italian magazine La Repubblica, director Luca Guadagnino just confirmed that the entire cast of the much-loved film (which was adapted from the novel of the same name by author André Aciman) will be returning to reprise their roles!
"Before coronavirus, I had a trip to the United States to meet a writer I love very much, whose name I don’t want to say, to talk about the second part,” Guadagnino said. "Unfortunately, we had to cancel it. Of course, it is a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel and the other actors."
"Everyone will be in the new movie," the director then said.
Considering all the bad, scary, uncertain stuff going on in the world right now, this is exactly the kind of good news we needed to hear and the kind of thing we can look forward to once all this madness is done and over with! Our peaches are rejoicing!
And we can't wait to see Timothée and Armie reunited once more!!!
