James Bond and John Wick Find Love in Amazing Reimagined Trailer
The action movie we deserve!
James Bond and John Wick are both, in a sense, your traditional male heroes. Bond stoically fights for what’s right while largely remaining free from overt displays of emotion; Wick enacts his revenge on the bad guys while continuing to be a man of few words and the occasional grunt.
But an amazing new trailer from Funny or Die takes those masculine stereotypes and spins them into a story of romance between the two heroes — using only existing clips from their respective films.
Aptly titled “John Wick and James Bond Just F*ck Already,” the video layers soft music over carefully selected clips of Daniel Craig and Keanu Reeves largely being broody and drinking quietly alone to tell the convincing tale of their introduction and slow burn descent into a lasting love neither ever believed they would find. The fake trailer already has queer fans yearning for a real version of this crossover — something we all definitely deserve, especially in these dark times.

We may never see the two come together in a real film, but at least this trailer has blessed us with so much content for our imaginations.
Rachel Kiley is presumably a writer and definitely not a terminator. She can usually be found crying over queerbaiting in the Pitch Perfect franchise or on Twitter, if not both.
