After raising funds through his OnlyFans account, openly gay, Aussie wrestler Dave Marshall wanted to make a donation to a deserving charity...it's just too bad they didn't want his money.

According to a November post by AVN, Marshall saught to raise money for Australian suicide-prevention organization Beyond Blue after his father tragically took his own life last year. In a statement on Instagram about his purpose for fundraising, Marshall said:

"The reason the money I raise from my OnlyFans goes towards Beyond Blue is seeing everyday how big depression and anxiety has become in society and almost overlooked.

[It’s my] first time saying this but my father took his life last year.

Older men have a “Harden the fuck up” mentality they were brought up with.

Stats on LGBT in this area are quite scary too so I hope I can in some way, give back to my community. Positivity is everything."

Marshall was able to use his account on OnlyFans (a popular website where people can post sexy videos and photos and charge other users a subscription fee to see them) to raise a whopping $5,000 AUD for his donation. But when he tried to give the money to Beyond Blue, the pro wrestler was turned down.

According to Gay Star News, once Beyond Blue learned that Marshall was raising money to donate to their organization, they told him "they cannot accept his donations because they come from activities such as 'gambling, alcohol and pornography.'"

Beyond Blue also requested that Marshall remove all mention of their organization from his social media accounts.

"To me, money is money," he told GSN about Beyond Blue's unfortunate decision. "It came from the heart."

Since being turned down by Beyond Blue, Marshall says that he has found another mental health charity—Sydney's Black Dog Institute—to donate his funds to.

"They are another of the bigger ones in Australia," Marshall said. "As my father was one of the main factors in the choice of charity, it’s quite fitting."

Black Dog Institute accepted the donation, which prompted Marshall to double the amount to an astounding $10,000 AUD!
