Eric's Test Newsletter
Hi, I’m Rachel Shatto, editor-in-chief of PRIDE.com, and I’m so happy to introduce the first edition of our very own newsletter!
At PRIDE, we’re passionate about many things: queer entertainment, pop culture, politics, sex, dating, and the list goes on. But at the center of it all is the one thing that truly binds us all together, and that’s our queer joy. Our lives, our loves, our passions, our struggles — in other words, our pride! We celebrate it all at PRIDE, and we’re excited to bring you along on the journey.
Twice a week in this newsletter, we’ll be sharing the stories that are moving us, making us laugh, teaching us, and inspiring us to push for change — all delivered directly to your inbox. We’ll also be taking you beyond the velvet rope with exclusive access to behind-the-scenes moments from the events and activities PRIDE is attending.
But that’s not all; we also want to feature you! We want to know: What are you curious about? What’s inspiring you right now? Let us know by replying to this email and sharing photos of your queer joy for a chance to be featured in an upcoming newsletter.
Welcome to the PRIDE newsletter. This is going to be fun! 🌈
This week PRIDE sat down with Max Lorde, Stormy Daniels, Laverne Cox, Xunami, and the cast of Drive-Away Dolls. Republican hypocrisy accidentally gets kinky and we delve into the meaning behind "fraysexuality." Plus, PRIDE's very own Ricky Cornish hits the red carpet at the Grammys and I head to the Alamo Drafthouse for a very spooky and special night. Check it out below! ⬇️
🏳️🌈 PRIDE IN THE STREETS! 🏳️🌈
Pride.com’s Ricky Cornish covered the red carpet at the 66th Grammy Awards and interviewed some of the hottest LGBTQ+ stars including the Brothers Osborne; Scott & Mark Hoying; and Kandi Burruss. So many queens, so little time!

I had the pleasure of introducing a screening of the chilling and beautiful Lovely, Dark, and Deep at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco followed by a Q&A with the writer director Teresa Sutherland and executive producers Molly C. Quinn, Matthew M. Welty, and Elan Gale.
