It do take Nurve for a drag competition series — by far the biggest mainstream platform for queer and trans talent on TV for many years — to be snatching these many nominations at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, but RuPaul's Drag Race continues to put the ding in everything.

With a total of 10 nominations at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, Drag Race is the most nominated series out of any other reality show in 2025.

'Drag Race' has expanded its records for most nominations, and most consecutive nominations, this year.

Drag Race also topped itself (likely story!) by breaking its own record for most nominations, as well as most consecutive nominations, in the Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program category: A total of nine nominations over the years.

Fun fact: RuPaul's Drag Race has been nominated every single year since the Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program category was created.

This year's nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Series was a first for 'Drag Race.'
