the non-profit film organization that gave us Itty Bitty Titty Committee and numerous award-winning lesbian and gay short films, held its 10th annual gala Sunday at Voyeur in West Hollywood to honor its 10 Amazing Gay Women and 10 Amazing Gay Men in Showbiz for 2010! Honorees were Clementine Ford, Howard Bragman, Steve Tyler, Ali Adler, Tabatha Coffey, Savannah Dooley, Tracy Gilchrist, Christine Moore, Martha Sanchez, Elizabeth Sarnoff, Kirsten Vangsness, Kathy Wolfe, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, Wilson Cruz, James Duff, Keya Khayatian, Mark Noble, Peter Paige, Howard Rosenman and Michael Sluchan.In addition to the honorees, a few allies and heros to the LGBT community showed up to show their support, including Meredith Baxter, Betty DeGeneres, Angela Robinson Cherry Bomb's Dalila Ali Rajah and Gloria Bigelow and Gabrielle Christian, Kate French and Malaya Drew.

Trevor Project held their 11th annual Cracked Xmas gala in Hollywood over the weekend. The Trevor Project operates the nation’s only 24/7 suicide and crisis prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth. Wanda Sykes, Fantasia, Anne Hathaway and Sigourney Weaver were on hand.

Attendees to Saturday's Human Rights Campaign dinner in New York will have to cross protesters angry at the organization's support of investment bank Goldman Sachs. Members of Queer Caucus, an offshoot of Occupy Wall Street, will air their disapproval in front of the Waldorf Astoria, site of the HRC fundraiser. The group is condemning the equality group for honoring Goldman Sachs, which QE says helped spur the global financial meltdown.

POWER UP went coed this year at its annual gala, honoring not only its Top 10 Amazing Gay Women in Show Biz, but also the Top 10 Amazing Gay Men in Showbiz. Among the recipients on hand to accept their awards were Sharon Isbin, Megan Cavanagh, Susan Miller, Liz Feldman and Patricia Resnick.

The LA Gay and Lesbian Center held its annual gala this past Saturday at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel where the organization honored kick-ass out Olympic soccer superstar Megan Rapinoe. Rapinoe was on hand to pick up the honor, as was pop star Estelle, who performed, and Pretty Little Liars’ Lindsey Shaw – who plays gay on the show.
