Style Icon and reality star Nicole Richie had been keeping busy in her role as mom and wife until recently becoming a mentor on NBC’s Fashion Star, the reality series that affords designers the opportunity to launch their collections in three of America’s largest retailers: Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue. Let’s hope that Richie’s ardor for lesbians with great fashion sense bodes well for Fashion Star contestant Kara Laricks, an out lesbian whose Draped Tie Dress ignited a bidding war between Saks and H&M on last week’s show.
