Apple FINALLY Releases a Rainbow Flag Emoji

The wait is over.

In an effort to be more inclusive, the folks over at tech giant Apple just debuted a whole new set of diverse emojis, the likes of which include a rainbow, LGBT Pride flag.

Yes, you heard that right. The world is FINALLY getting a rainbow flag emoji.

*cue freak out*

But LGBT people aren't the only winners of more representation that comes with the new update. The queer themed emoji is just one of hundreds of newly designed emojis that are trying to "bring more gender options to existing characters, including new female athletes and professionals."

iPhone and iPad users get to start using the rainbow flag emoji in the Fall, when Apple releases it highly-anticipated iOS 10 operating software.

Check out some of Apple's new emojis on their official site.
