Drake Von is in hot water with the law yet again.
According to TMZ and The New York Daily News, the adult model Von was arrested by Las Vegas police over the weekend for the second time this month for allegedly driving under the influence.
Von was charged on one count of misdemeanor DUI after reportedly crashing his car into another vehicle. Photos released to TMZ show the passenger door smashed-in.
On June 2, Vegas police arrested Von, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, for allegedly strangling his partner, according to court records obtained by TMZ. The charges in that case are first-degree domestic battery, domestic battery by strangulation, and felony coercion constituting domestic violence with threat or use of physical force. TMZ also posted a police bodycam video of Von's arrest.
In an exclusive statement to Out, the 23-year-old claimed the incident was in fact nothing more than a "publicity stunt."
The GayVN award-winning adult film actor vowed all charges against him "will be dropped and [the] case dismissed" and that reports to the contrary are false. “I’m very good mentally. This was all a publicity stunt,” Von told Out.
However, the official police report paints a far more sinister picture, as Out reported earlier this month.
Von’s arrest on June 2nd stemmed from an argument with his girlfriend that escalated into a physical altercation where he allegedly grabbed her by the throat and “slammed her on the ground” and strangled her “by applying pressure to her throat restricting her breathing” until she “could not breathe and she felt like she passed out,” according to a police report obtained by Out.
Las Vegas Detective D. Groberski interviewed the unnamed woman for that report, and she told police that a verbal argument allegedly turned violent after she threw her Louis Vuitton “promise ring” out of the window of the car. The victim claimed the disagreement continued after they returned home and when she called a friend to pick her up, Von took her cell phone and refused to return it before ordering her to “get onto her knees and apologize to him.”
According to police, the victim had a bruise above her right eyebrow, a scratch on her hand, and redness on her neck that was “consistent with her allegations of being strangled.”
Police say the SWAT team had to be called to Von’s apartment because an empty magazine from a firearm was seen on his coffee table when police entered his residence to arrest him. Von, who has a previous arrest for domestic battery, refused to speak to police and requested his attorney.
Following his arrest, a video was posted by the gay adult news site Str8Up allegedly showing Von in a confrontation with another person involving a knife.
The man who is said to be Von appears in the clip, approaching someone recording a video. That person can be heard repeatedly saying, "Back the fuck up," while the person identified as Von says, "Come here, bitch."
As the person who is said to be Von approaches, the other person appears to be holding a knife and threatens to stab him. Von continues to walk right up to them and says, "You’re not going to stab shit."
But in response to a backlash on social media, Von called that clip a "fake video that's old as hell [and] completely unrelated to this 'incident'" and that his "future is bright. I’m gonna stay on my grind!"
On June 4, Von also posted a shirtless mirror selfie with a cheeky caption to show he was out of jail and doing well. The Instagram post showed Von sticking his tongue out with the caption, “Feeling good,” followed by the woozy face emoji.
Von’s arrest on June 2nd was also the day the final episode of OUTtv's Ultimate Boys Trip dropped. That's the new reality series where Von made his television debut alongside fellow adult film stars Max Konnor, Boomer Banks, and Joey Mills.
