Black Mirror's beloved "San Junipero" episode took home an Emmy award last night, much to our elation! Set in an '80s-esque beach town, actresses Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis, struck a chord in our hearts with their touching romance.

"Thank you, I’m shocked," Black Mirror writer/creator Charlie Brooker said when he also accepted the award for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special. "I’m gonna go melt this down for currency."

The fan-favorite episode showcased representation for the stories of queer women with a rarely seen happy ending, elevating the show's integrity with it's inovative storytelling and masterful aesthetic—and the internet was quick to celebrate the show's win.
