American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has just let slip that the FX horror anthology's fan favorite coven of witches from seasons 3 (Coven) and 8 (Apocalypse) WILL be returning again for future seasons!
With the fire and brimstone of the Apocalypse in the rear view mirror of Billie Lourd's car, what exactly is to be expected for the series in seasons to come? How can you move forward after the literal end of the world? It turns out Murphy already has plans in motion to bring back our beloved coven to the small screen sooner than expected (again!).
Murphy teased the return of series staples Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe and newcomers Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman told Entertainment Tonight during an interview at the ceremony for his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
"The witches will be back," Murphy said. "Not next season, but we have something really fun planned."
He continued:
"I can't say what it is! I'm going to this luncheon, and many of the Horror Story actors are there, and I'm gonna tell them for the first time."
Does this slated return include the warlocks? Another apocalypse? Joan Collins' fierce wig changes? Only time will tell...or a truth spell.
