HBO Max’s new reality experiment, Back to the Frontier, just premiered, but the show has already become a culture-war flashpoint thanks to the presence of Texas husbands Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs with their 10-year-old twin sons. The series, produced by Magnolia Network’s Chip and Joanna Gaines, drops three modern families into an 1880s homestead and strips away every 21st-century convenience.
Over the weekend, evangelical heavyweight Franklin Graham called the casting “very disappointing,” warning that “promoting something God defines as sin is in itself sin.”

Netflix plans to end reality television showQueer Eye after Season 10, the streaming platform announced Wednesday. The show, which premiered in 2018, is the streamer's longest-running unscripted series to date. It's unclear exactly why the show is ending—the reason has not yet been announced.
The original Fab Five, consisting of Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, and Bobby Berk, have all become public figures in their own right since the show started seven years ago. But after season 8, Berk left the show and was replaced by Jeremiah Brent.

In the LGBTQ+ Netflix reality show, where one partner issued an ultimatum, couples decide to marry or move on over the course of ten episodes, where they bond with “trial wives” before coming back together and either popping the question or walking away.

The first season of The Ultimatum: Queer Love was delightfully chaotic, bingeable, brain-rot TV viewing, and we were seated for every episode (why should the straights have all the fun with The Bachelor?). The first seven episodes of season 2 have just dropped, and the discourse about one messy masc has already started.
