Ryan Murphy’s buzzy new show The Shards is already off to an amazing start after premiering on August 5. Star Igby Rigney has gone viral for a scene where he was only sporting a pair of white underwear, and everyone is talking about the steamy show and its hot stars.
Set in 1980s Los Angeles, The Shards is based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel of the same name. It follows the prep school student Bret, whose privileged life begins to unravel when he meets the enigmatic new student Robert. Things get complicated as Bret navigates teenage drama, drug-fueled excess, and secret sexual relationships with his male classmates, all while a serial killer known as “The Trawler” begins terrorizing the city.

Following news of his casting in the upcoming second season of the hit Canadian television series Heated Rivalry, out actor Justice Smith sent a message of thanks to the fans who have welcomed him into the franchise. 
“I have to say I am moved by the support and love I’m getting from fans in my DMs, fans who have welcomed me with open arms and who already feel a responsibility to protect me,” the actor said in an Instagram story post over the weekend, per The Hollywood Reporter.
