The long wait for season three of Élite will soon come to an end! And now, we have a new trailer to tide us over while we count down the minutes.
The Spanish-language Netflix drama first followed the lives of three public school teens who are given what should be the opportunity of a lifetime when they receive scholarships to an exclusive private school. Their predictable clashing with these rich teens from a vastly different world mingles with a murder mystery, for a deliciously soapy teen drama — and a very queer one at that.
Season two brought in new faces and another mystery, with one student going missing. We don’t have many details about season three just yet, but the haunting new teaser trailer does introduce us to some new faces joining Las Encinas.
Pride’s Taylor Henderson has previously written about why Élite is the YA show we all need to be watching, even if you don’t speak Spanish and subtitles aren’t usually your thing. In fact, the show has proven to be so popular that Netflix has already renewed it through season five.
But we’ve got to bite our nails through next season’s mystery first, so set a reminder for March 10. The kids are coming.
