15 Songs That We Want to See in a 'Drag Race' Lip Sync For Your Life

Please make this happen for us, RuPaul.

Since its first season, RuPaul's Drag Race has given viewers so many extraordinary lip-sync performances that mainstream America has since tried to co-opt through lip-sync shows of their own (which are, of course, not nearly as good). But what's new about that? Mainstream America has always been late.

Culture aside, what makes the lip-sync performance so captivating is that Drag Race producers pick songs that are powerful (for lack of a better word). They don't just go around picking songs that are popular. With that being said, there are certain songs that viewers have wished—and keep wishing—would come up in a Lip Sync For Your Life. I know I have!

Here's a list of songs that we absolutely would love and NEED to see performed on RuPaul's Drag Race in the future!

1) Sia, "Chandelier"

Can you imagine how intense this lip sync could get? Contestants would just have to be careful not to mimic the music video because people would not be impressed.

2) Avril Lavigne, "Girlfriend"

Avril has yet to have a song on RPDR, so maybe now is the time?

3) Hi Fashion, "Amazing"

Only the fiercest divas could pull this off.

4) Lady Gaga, "Judas"

Gaga lip syncs almost always turn the party up!

5) Taylor Swift, "Blank Space"

The producers would have to get through Taylor's legal team first, so this one might never be possible.

6) Chelsea Lankes, "Bullet"

This song may not be as popular as some of the others on this list, but has everything a great lip sync song needs.

7) Selena, "Dreaming of You"

To win this lip sync, queens would have to capture the feel and match the sound as closely as possible. No splits or death drops for this one. Also, isn't a Selena-focused episode of RPDR overdue??

8) Grimes, "Flesh Without Blood"

This is a bit alternative for RPDR, but a lip sync to this would no doubt be one of the best ever! Although, it'd be admittedly hard to pin down a song like this.

9) Lady Gaga, "Donatella"

Seriously, I will die if they ever used this on the show. Can you even imagine how amazing a lip sync to this song could be?

10) Miranda Lambert, "Gunpowder & Lead"

It's been a while since we've had a country song on Drag Race.

11) Rita Ora, "I Will Never Let You Down"

This high energy song would push the queens to work every inch of the stage.

12) Beyoncé, "If I Were a Boy"

I'd be happy with ANY Beyoncé song at this point.

13) Dolly Parton, "Jolene"

THIS is a country classic. Much like Latrice's "Natural Woman" lip sync, this is a song that can only be successfully performed if people channel the emotion.

14) Marina and the Diamonds, "Oh No!"

This song screams RuPaul's Drag Race lip sync.

15) Paramore, "Misery Business"

Who wouldn't love to see the queens take on this popular throwback?

What songs have you been waiting for someone to lip sync to on Drag Race? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
