It's time for a new generation of stars to shine in AMC's The Walking Dead universe! And from the looks of the first trailer of the new spin-off series World Beyond, they are shining indeed—especially our fave Younger star Nico Tortorella!

Fresh off of their RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race appearance from earlier this year, Nico is getting ready to flex their action star muscles, playing one of the main characters named Felix in World Beyond, the latest addition to The Walking Dead franchise that focuses on "the new mythology and the first generation raised in the apocalypse," according to the series' official description. The first official trailer for World Beyond dropped during this past weekend's Comic Con @ Home event, and it looks promising, angsty, and super action-packed—and tbh, we can't wait!

"This week last year I landed in Richmond, Virginia to begin this revolutionary chapter and introduction to The Walking Dead universe," Nico wrote in an Instagram caption when they posted the trailer to their account, remembering what it was like filming the show. "The next week, July 30th, was my first day filming. It was also my birthday. Andddd it was also my character Felix’s birthday scene. Woah. I love this life. No matter what."

We've been missing seeing Nico grace our TV screens, so we can't wait until World Beyond premieres later this year!!

The Walking Dead: World Beyond premieres Sunday, October 4 on AMC.
