'Drag Race UK' Just Dropped A Teaser For...Something

The mysterious countdown has fans' hearts going bing, bang, bong with anticipation.

Anyone dying for more Drag Race UK got a special treat on June 21 when the BBC dropped a new teaser for the show on Twitter. Well, sort of. Rather than, say, a cast reveal or even a short trailer, the video was more of a teaser for a teaser, as it was a quick countdown leading to the message “Start your engines.” Also, cryptically, the caption for the video read: “Finally some good news.”

While the audience will have to wait a little bit longer to learn exactly what said good news entails, this does seem in keeping with the show's third series reportedly airing sometime — perhaps very soon — in 2021.

Little is known about season three so far, although there have been a few sickening leaks, including Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock appearing as a guest judge for an episode and Sir Elton John stopping by (via video) for an episode, as well. They're apparently pulling out all the stops for the new season, and that feels... correct.

While it might be a bit longer (but hopefully not too long) before we know more, dropping this little teaser is sure to be just the beginning of all the goops and gags fans can look forward to in the lead-up to Drag Race UK's third series premiere.

For now, you can watch the teaser here:
