Strong women rock. Strong hot women rock. Strong hot women with a score to settle and lots of running around on screen in slow motion? Well, that’s just the f**king best, isn’t it?

I recently played a game of “F**k, Marry, Kill” using the three most famous literary fictional female icons. I chose Bella from Twilight to kill (I mean, I heart K-stew but can she just smile already?)

Then when it came down to Katniss and Hermione it dawned on me… They’d make the most amazing power couple ever.

Forget Bette and Tina. Sorry Vauseman. Katniss and Hermione would make the most iconic lesbian couple, hands down.

They Compliment Each Others Strengths

Katniss is all about the outdoors, while Ms. Granger owns the sexy-book-smart vibe. With Katniss’ street smarts and Hermione’s brain power, they’d be totally unstoppable.

They Both Have Two Men They Don’t Need

Come on, Harry and Ron would have been screwed without Hermione, and same goes for Peeta and Gale for Katniss. In fact, they sorta slowed her down.

Loyalty & Sisterhood

There’s no arguing that Katniss would do anything for her sister. There’s three damn books and what, like, five movies (eventually) on the subject? As for Hermione, what says loyalty louder than punching Draco Malfoy in the face?

They Have Serious Gay Hair Game

The whole “screw straighteners, I have asses to kick” tumbling tresses look is sooo power lesbian. Like, they have the time to deep condition?!

The Actresses Totally Would

Emma Watson and Jennifer Lawrence have so much in common, so their on-screen alter-ego’s should too, right? Watson is BOSSING IT right now as an active advocate for women’s rights and J-Law is just so funny I can’t even watch her on YouTube without wanting to cry a little.

So, what would happen if you got them together? A whole lot of awesome, that’s what.

It’s undeniable. Katniss and Hermione would make the perfect female-friendly-feminist Lesbian Power Couple. Let the fan fiction begin!
