Don Lemon Got Engaged With This Adorable Proposal!

CNN’s Don Lemon has announced his engagement to his boyfriend on Instagram and it looks like it happened in the cutest way.

“He gave me a present on his birthday,” the anchor wrote. “How could I say no?”

The photo displays the tags of each of the longtime couple’s dogs, reading: “Daddy will you marry Papa?”

Malone followed it up with an Insta story of the same photo, captioned: “He said YES!”

Though we don’t have all the insider deets on the proposal, we do know it happened after Lemon and Malone celebrated the latter’s 35th birthday together with their friends.

The two have been dating for a couple years after meeting in New York, where Malone is a real estate agent.

Lemon memorably, and drunkenly, commented during a New Year’s Eve broadcast ringing in 2017 that he wanted to be open to a relationship that year. During the following year’s show, he declared he had found love and kissed Malone on air.

No word yet on a the men setting a date, but we can only hope that their adorable pups will be as featured in their wedding as they were in the proposal. We need the pics.
