It's a blue moon!
There's many phrases to define the 2026 midterm elections. Rainbow wave, blue tsunami, and even blukakke are being used to describe the historic results that resulted in the Democratic Party taking over both the Senate and House of Representatives.
In fact, many queer celebrities and drag queens are celebrating the blue wave by posting some raunchy photos and videos all over social media. One notable political activist, Pattie Gonia, teased ahead of the midterm elections that they would be "posting a n*de if democrats / democratic socialists win a majority of the midterms."
Well, since the blue wave came so fiercely, many of Gonia's followers were quick to point out that they needed to fulfill their promise of posting a raunchy photo online. Thankfully, Gonia stuck to their word and posted an Instagram Reel showing off their cake with a caption on the screen that says, "i'm so proud of us for making our voices heard."
This isn't the first time Gonia has showed plenty of skin on social media in the past. Back in July, the activist broke the internet rocking a tight Speedo pic while hiking up a mountainous creek.
