Rihanna's Wax Figure Gets Unrecognizable Christmas Makeover

Who's that chick?

Madame Tussauds in Berlin, Germany, gave their wax Rihanna figure a Christmas makeover that has fans across the world asking, “Who’s that chick?”

The “Disturbia” singer first had her likeness recreated in wax for the Berlin location back in 2011, when she had her highly recognizable short red hair style and everyone could look at the Wax Rihanna and say, you know, “hey, that’s Rihanna.”

But a new look for Wax Rihanna is significantly less recognizable than previous iterations, swapping out her more notable hairstyle for something a little more generic, and throwing on a Christmas outfit for the holidays.

This isn’t the first time a Madame Tussads figure has turned out unrecognizable, but Rihanna fans were seriously not amused at the deconstruction of an icon.

There’s a way to make things festive while still keeping it looking like actual Rihanna, as shown by this earlier dressing up of red-haired Wax Rihanna:

Rihanna herself hasn’t weighed in on the new look, and we can only assume that’s because she’s definitely really busy working on that new album for us. You know, the one that we’re going to get just as soon as that wax figure actually becomes recognizable as Rihanna. Any day now.
