Mom Hilariously Recreates Daughter's Coming Out Experience
Bri, a 22-year-old soldier in the U.S. Army, uploaded a video of her mother reenacting her coming out experience. On her Tumblr, she wrote:
"My mom says this was how it was when I came out. I love her. She’s a minister everyone. Religion shouldn’t involve hate."
Most LGBTs remember feeling fear and anxiety before stepping out of the closet. The mother in this video playfully mimics her Bri's coming out from her perspective. Apparently, she knew all along and patiently waited for Bri to gather the courage to tell her family.
In the video, the mother says,
"For us it was, like, are you coming out? Not yet? All right. Every now and then, are you ready? Oh, okay, well let us know when you come out, okay? Oh, you made an announcement. Oh, okay. Dang. Cause it wasn't locked. You've been in this door."
