Halloween didn't disappoint this year!
The LGBTQ+ community really went all out as everyone dressed up in the sexiest, campiest, and wildest costumes they could possibly come up with. The creativity was truly off the charts in 2026!
Although there were plenty of hilarious outfits created, one TV show that was bound to get plenty of love this year was the hit gay hockey romance series Heated Rivalry. Since season one dropped in November 2025, this was the first Halloween where fans can dress up as their favorite characters from the hit show. Let's just say, the fans understood the assignment!
Not only did hardcore viewers nail the costumes exactly, even some of the stars joined in on the Heated Rivalry discourse. Breakout star François Arnaud, who portrayed the lovable professional hockey player Scott Hunter, decided to dress up as his onscreen lover for Halloween this year.
Wearing only a coffee shop apron, Arnaud dressed as Robbie G.K.'s character, Christopher "Kip" Grady. As a reminder, the two first meet when Hunter gets a smoothie at the café Grady works at. The rest, as they say, is history. Arnaud captioned the photo on Instagram by saying, "don't have @robsgk's abs so I got the apron 🎃". Fans, naturally, went wild on social media.
Plus, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams reunited for Halloween to recreate characters from the 2025 sci-fi thriller Bugonia. Storrie dressed as Michelle Fuller (originally played by Emma Stone), complete with a buzzcut. Williams dressed as Teddy Gatz (originally played by Jesse Plemons), the conspiracy theorist who kidnaps Michelle.
As if that weren't adorable enough, plenty of celebrities and fans created their own Heated Rivalry costumes. Pentatonix's Scott Hoying and his husband Mark Hoying dressed up as fierce rivals Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander while their newborn baby dressed up as a puck! Talk about adorable.
