It's a sad day for the RuPaul's Drag Race community.

According to TMZ, gay music producer Lucian Piane has passed away at 46. The news site obtained records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner that claim he died in the street on Monday.

Law enforcement reports that Piane was hit by a car in Glendale early Monday morning and died from his injuries. Leading up to the incident, the Drag Race star had raised concern among fans after posting a series of alarming videos to his Instagram page. In the clips, he was spending a lot of time in the street, prompting worried followers to wonder if he was safe.

TMZ also reports that Piane was arrested on Saturday for being under the influence of controlled substance. He was then taken into custody by Glendale PD again on Sunday for assault on an officer or emergency personal. He was only given a citation for both incidents, but his court date was set on the day he died.

Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race will remember Piane as a judge, producer, and songwriter who worked on multiple seasons of the hit show. RIP.
