Boo!

The Boulet Brothers are bringing the horror at a truly terrifying time in history with the seventh mainline season of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula. Premiering just before Halloween, the horror duo is also celebrating 10 years of the popular reality competition show.

Long-term romantic and business partners, Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, are continuing to solidify their status as iconic TV hosts as they amplify all of the spooky shenanigans for the monumental year in their careers.

"It's been 10 years of destruction! That's the terror you see on TV and in my personal life. It's been a lot of hard work, but it's been very gratifying. It's a delight to see this nightmare come to life and influence a lot of people's lives," Swanthula tells Out.

"This Halloween is 10 years since the first episode aired. It's mind-blowing to realize that. This new cast is very raw. We're going back to the basics. These are real drag performers who aren't used to TV and in a completely different league. It's going to be a very wild and unpredictable season," Dracmorda adds.

Although The Boulet Brothers' Dragula is known for wild twists nearly every season of the hit show, the seventh season is going back to basics. By casting a very diverse crop of entertainers, audiences will surely be delighted by their unique perspectives on the art of drag.

"This cast is young, hungry, punk, and a little bit ruthless. They're dehydrated and overstimulated! It creates this amazing energy throughout the season. We also have so many cultures clash and explode. We knew the heart of this show was so strong and the branding was so undeniable. We knew we were on the right path," Swanthula says.

The timing of the new season couldn't be better as it's unafraid to tap into the rebellious dark energy that's rooted in LGBTQ+ freedom and expression. There's no denying all of the challenges facing the queer community, so the Boulet Brothers hope their explicit series can resonate with fans around the world.

"The message of the show goes beyond what you see on the surface. The underlying message is about living up to your dream. Don't dream it, be it! Our show is all about that. It's about celebrating the uncelebrated. Most people in our society feel like outcasts. This show is for those people. You're welcome in our family," Dracmorda says.

The Boulet Brothers' Dragula premieres Tuesday, October 27 on Shudder and AMC+. Meet the monsters competing below!
