Which means we get to relive all the magic The Force Awakens brought into our lives last year and will continue to bring for countless years to come! With a female character played by Daisy Ridley at the helm (literally), the epic Star Wars franchise soared effortlessly into a new generation, and that's no easy task when you're working with, well, basically the biggest franchise in cinematic history. But aside from pleasing our feminist franchise desires (which are oh so rarely pleased), the film itself proved to be as fresh, funny, and regularly heart-wrenching / gasp-inducing as our wildest dreams.
