The cover for Elliot Page’s upcoming memoir has been revealed, and fans are already going wild for it.

The Umbrella Academy star announced Pageboy at the start of 2022, with publisher Flatiron Books noting it would “delve into Page’s relationship with his body, his experiences as one of the most famous trans people in the world, and will cover mental health, assault, love relationships, sex, and the cesspool that Hollywood can be” at the time.

And now Page has provided the first look at the jacket for his memoir, a reflection of who he is and who he has fought to be, and it’s absolutely perfect.

“Writing a book has come up a few times over the years, but it never felt right and quite frankly, it didn’t feel possible. I could barely sit still, let alone focus long enough to completely such a task,” he wrote. “At last, I can be with myself, in this body. So I’ve written a book about my story.”

Both the cover and the title prompted enthusiastic responses from fans who have appreciated watching Page’s journey towards self-understanding and confidence in his identity play out.

The bad news is that we have to wait until June 6 to get our hands on a copy of Pageboy. The good news is that it’s already available for pre-order, so whip out those credit cards!
