Jack Harlow Addresses Lil Nas X Romance Rumors in SNL Monologue

Are Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X dating?
The simple answer is no, but ever since their song "Industry Baby" became the no. 1 song in the country last year, rumors have swirled about the two rappers' relationship.
Well, Harlow decided to address those rumors head-on in his Saturday Night Live monologue on Saturday, where he was both the host and musical guest.
“I’ve heard people try to romantically link me and Lil Nas X as an item,” Harlow said. “I’m going to tell you right now: No, everything that happened between us was casual... and consensual... and one of the best nights of my entire life.”
After the audience laughed, he clarified, "working with him, working with him.”

While X and Harlow's relationship has been nothing but fun and flirty, people's perception of it as anything else might just be wishful thinking. The two have a close friendship but because X is gay, people might speculate about Harlow's sexuality, even though Harlow firmly identifies as straight.
But to the shipper's credit, when the two released "Industry Baby", Harlow said that he “woulda been in that shower scene” (a nude one where X was surrounded by backup dancers) if X had asked. X then joked that they should “shoot it again” with Harlow. After fans said they would “never forgive” X for excluding Harlow, he issued a formal apology.
“To the LGBTQ+ community I sincerely apologize,” he tweeted. “I have failed you. I am embarrassed. I am ashamed. And I will learn from my mistakes.”
