Watch Former Trump Lawyer Throw Him Under The Bus & Cackle Along With Us

Trump codefendant Jenna Ellis took a plea deal today and will now have to cooperate against the man.

And another one bites the dust!

Jenna Ellis, one of Donald Trump’s lawyers who helped spread misinformation about the former president’s baseless claims of election fraud, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a felony charge over efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Ellis is the third former Trump lawyer who has turned against him and agreed to cooperate fully with the prosecution in exchange for a lighter sentence—who could have guessed that people willing to lie about a presidential election would turn out to be untrustworthy?!

As part of her deal, Ellis pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings and will have to spend five years on probation, pay $5,000 in restitution and perform 100 hours of community service, according to the New York Times. Former Trump lawyers Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro have also cut similar deals with the prosecution.

Unlike the other defendants who have taken plea deals, Elis asked to read a statement in court. “As an attorney who is also a Christian, I take my responsibilities as a lawyer very seriously and I endeavor to be a person of sound moral and ethical character in all of my dealings,” Ellis tearfully read from a prepared statement.

Poor baby!

“I believed that challenging the results on behalf of President Trump should be pursued in a just and legal way,” she said, but admitted that she “failed to do my due diligence.”

Is it just us or does failing to do your “due diligence” seem like a gross understatement when all of your claims were made up?

Elis continued, saying, “If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse.”

This somber and tear-filled speech is a marked difference from her demeanor back in August at the Fulton County jailhouse in Atlanta, Georgia when she made headlines after posing for a mugshot with a giant Joker-grin plastered across her face.

The 38-year-old was charged alongside Trump and 17 others with violating the state's anti-racketeering law in the election interference case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Elis had initially been charged with two felonies: violating Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and soliciting the violation of oath by a public officer.

Included in the accusations against Ellis is that she was one of the architects behind plans to disrupt the certification of the 2020 election results on January 6, 2020 and that she was instrumental in attempting to get electors loyal to Trump in place in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Michigan, according to KCRA.

We normally wouldn’t condone throwing someone under the bus for personal gain, but in this case we say throw Trump under the bus and back up a couple times—you can’t be too careful!
