Caitlyn Jenner, who just last week went on The View and insisted that people should give Trump a chance, is not so thrilled with the results of her open-mindedness. After the President announced (via Twitter) his ban on transgender people from military service, the reality star tweeted:
“There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them? https://t.co/WzjypVC8Sr”— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn Jenner) 1501088267
The LGBT community and its allies responded with snickers. The Twitterverse noted how naive Caitlyn had been when it came to the adminstration's stance on transgender rights and dragged her for voting against her community's interests.
Here are some of the best clapbacks:
“@LordJesseGaga @Caitlyn_Jenner How long will it take for @Caitlyn_Jenner to figure out that her politics as a conservative only helps the part of her that likes money?”— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn Jenner) 1501088267

“@Caitlyn_Jenner *whispers gently* He was lying. He always lies. The rest of us in the community tried to tell you. Over and over.
And over.
And over again.”— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn Jenner) 1501088267
