The pan/bisexual god of mischief is coming back!

Season two of Loki promises to be an electrifying follow-up installment to the first season. After meeting Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) at the end of season one, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) must now embark on a new adventure to save the world before running out of time.

In a new teaser, we see new and returning characters alike trying to help Loki in his pursuit to save humanity. The second season will feature Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie), Owen Wilson (Mobius M. Mobius), Ke Huy Quan (Ouroboros “OB”), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Renslayer), among others.

“This is going to sound strange,” Loki said in the newly-dropped teaser. “I’ve been pulled through time. It’s up to us to save this place.”

Based on what we know so far, Loki will once again be working with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) over the course of season two. This new season is also expected to cover “new emotional ground” for the titular character, which could mean that we’ll get more personal feelings and/or backstory related to the god of mischief.

One lingering question regarding Loki season two is how much Victor Timely will be involved as a direct antagonist in the story. Due to recent accusations of assault and harassment from Majors, his current standing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is very unclear.

Nonetheless, we couldn’t be more excited to watch Loki and the TVA gang return for season two of this incredible show!

Loki season two premieres October 5 on Disney+.
