So there's this new queen of Las Vegas... 😉
Dita Von Teese is securing her reign as Sin City's hottest act as she performs her sexy and electrifying shows as part of her new residency at Voltaire Las Vegas.
Following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Christina Aguilera, Teese's show features everything that's made her career so iconic including plenty of skin, sensual dance routines, and steamy fetish numbers.
"I've always had fetish-themed numbers in my shows. I got my start as a fetish and bondage model in the early 90s. I've always been interested in things that are risqué and combining them with high glamour," Teese tells PRIDE.
The spicy show is also unapologetic, as Teese has dodged any backlash her show has received for featuring showguys rocking g-strings and plenty of gorgeous Bob Mackie costumes.
"When you think of Vegas, inclusivity and diversity does not usually come into play. I remember getting a little bit of pushback on that and I'm glad it's stopped a little. It was disheartening to feel that people weren't ready to see men wearing feathers and rhinestones."
Not only have audiences learned to appreciate everything Teese's residency has to offer, but her talented dancers have also stepped into their own sexiness by performing in the hit show.
"We certainly like to see all genders represented. They're performing burlesque and dancing topless with very little clothes on! I love watching them grow and evolve. Everybody looks so good and they're really into it."
