The Legend of Billie Jean is a perfect campy 80s classic.
Is The Legend of Billie Jean a good film? What is good? If good is having a solid plot, or good cinematography, or whatever other pretentious stuff some MFA film school student is talking about right now, then no. If good is just a ridiculously enjoyable campy romp, then yes. I would say these 16 reasons you need to watch The Legend of Billie Jean contain plot spoilers, but to be completely honest, there is not a lot to the plot of this movie that can’t be summarized on the back of a VHS cover. If you actually need to be convinced, here’s why this movie is the campy feminist flick you need in your life:
