Frozen star Jonathan Groff is the latest actor to join the cast of the next installment of the iconic sci-fi series, The Matrix.
We don't know much about Groff's role or even the plot of the movie, but Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith are all returning to reprise their original roles.
Neil Patrick Harris is the other openly gay actor cast and is rumored to be playing a villain. Watchmen star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Game of Thrones star Jessica Henwick are also joining the franchise.
Lana Wachowski, the transgender creator of the beloved LGBT sci-fi series Sense8, returns to direct the sequel.
Matrix 4 will reportedly begin production at the top of 2020.
