Taron Egerton Actually Sings Elton John's 'Rocketman' in Sneak Peak

"I don’t think I’ve heard anyone sing my songs better than Taron," said Elton.

In the latest sneak peek from the upcoming biopic Rocketman, actor Taron Egerton shows off his best Elton John vocals to the title track tune.

In the clip, music producer Giles Martin reveals that Egerton does actually sing John's hit songs in the film, unlike Rami Malek who lip-synched to Queen's hits in last year's Bohemian Rhapsody.

“Elton said, 'I don’t think I’ve heard anyone sing my songs better than Taron,'” Martin says.

Rocketman premieres May 31. Watch the sneak peek below.
