It's been five years since we first saw Oscar-winning bisexual actress Angelina Jolie take on the devilishly iconic role of Maleficent, but after waiting patiently like good little stans should, we have finally been blessed with the first look at the sequel!
Disney officially dropped the post for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and in it, Angelina dons the titular queen's iconic horns and serves us some serious cheeckbones!
Disney also revealed that the long-anticipated, live-action sequel will also hit theaters this October, seven months of ahead of the originally scheduled May 2020 release!
Vanity Fair points out that Angelina's latest project is in good company this year, with the Maleficent sequel joining the likes of Aladdin, The Lion King, Toy Story 4, and Frozen 2 for theatrical Disney releases.
