Forget what you've heard! Netflix's Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is this season's must-see holiday event — though it seems like the world just hasn't caught on yet.

Packed with an all-star cast including Forest Whitaker, Phylicia Rashad, Ricky Martin, Anika Noni Rose, and Keegan-Michael Key, Jingle Jangle is "a musical adventure and a visual spectacle for the ages."

The film's official description reads:

"Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (newcomer Madalen Mills) — and a long-forgotten invention — to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within."

Ricky Martin plays the smooth-talking Don Juan Diego in the film, one of Jangle's amazing inventions who conspires against him and convinces Gustafson to stab Jangle in the back.

With Jingle Jangle's stellar animation, heartwarming storyline, and stunning music that'll make you want to get up and dance, it feels like an instant classic, a fantastical fairytale with refreshing pops of color akin to Whitney Houston and Brandy's 1997 adaption of Cinderella

You won't regret giving this film some of your time this holiday season!
