Watch the Trailer for Jeffrey Bower-Chapman's Gay Horror Movie Spiral
The trailer for Jeffrey Bower-Chapman's upcoming horror movie Spiral has everything: jump scares, creepy cults, homophobic graffiti, gaslighting partners, and even sacrificial rituals.
The Unreal actor and Canada's Drag Race judge stars in the film as Malik. He and his partner, Aaron, move to a small town with their 16-year-old daughter in search of a better life, but from the looks of the trailer, they're getting much more than they bargained for.
Malik seems to be on edge almost immediately after moving into their neighborhood, facing dirty looks and threatening glances from neighbors. Someone even spraypaints "f*gg*t" on a wall inside his home. Whether the neighbors or homophobes, racists, or good old-fashioned cannibals or something, this film already has us on edge.
"Choosing to live your life loud and proud is about the bravest thing you can do," Bowyer-Chapman says ominously in the trailer.
The film is streaming exclusively on Shudder and premieres September 17th.
