The first look at Steven Spielberg's highly-anticipated modern adaptation of classic, beloved movie-musical West Side Story is finally here!
The official teaser trailer debuted during Sunday night's Oscars ceremony, and in it, we see young, up-and-coming stars like Rachel Zegler, Ansel Elgort, The Prom's Ariana DeBose as well as legends like One Day at a Time's Rita Moreno (who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress after starring in the original 1961 West Side Story)!
From a screenplay by Pulitzer and Tony winner Tony Kushner, "West Side Story tells the classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City," reads the film's official description.
Theater lovers rejoice!
