Another LGBTQ+ film is on the way, and we couldn't be more excited!

Fox Searchlight Pictures has released first look images for their newest queer film starring a slew of our favorite actors.
According to the press release, Fire Island "is an unapologetic, modern day rom-com inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The story centers around two best friends who set out to have a legendary week-long summer vacation with the help of cheap rosé and a cadre of eclectic friends."
The cast is packed with talent.

Comedian Joel Kim Booster stars in the film alongside Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang, How To Get Away With Murder star Conrad Ricamora, Matt Rogers, the iconic Margaret Cho, and more.
The first trailer has arrived!

"A group of queer best friends gather in the Fire Island Pines for their annual week of love and laughter, but a sudden change of events might make this their last summer in gay paradise," the official description reads. "As they discover the romance and pleasures of the iconic island, their bonds as a chosen family are pushed to the limit."
We can spot all of the stars in the trailer, as well as RuPaul's Drag Race star Peppermint. It also features Charli XCX's song "Boys."
It was filmed on location.

No studio sets here. Fire Island was actually filmed on location in Cherry Grove and Fire Island Pines, the two LGBT resort communities on the island. The film will feel authentic to folks who have been to the resort before while also supporting the islands' LGBTQ+ businesses.
Production is in good hands.

Booster wrote the film, so we'll surely get plenty of laughs. Andrew Ahn, who wrote and directed another queer film titled Spa Night, is also directing this film.
You can watch it this Pride Month.

Fire Island will premiere June 3rd on Hulu.
