This beautiful video that depicts a turbulent love story between two men from musician Lyon Hart has been out for about a month now, but it’s really just starting to garner notice for its stunning artistry.

New York-based musician Lyon Hart, who released the EP With or Without Me last year,  worked with directors Matt VanDaniker and James Manzello and choreographers and stars Lonnie Poupard Jr. and Kile Hotchkiss on the video that was shot partly in a former rope factory warehouse in Brooklyn, according to Wonkysensitive.

The video seamlessly intertwines scenes of domestic tranquility followed by turmoil with increasingly aggressive dance sequences to depict the relationship unraveling, while also drawing an undeniable line between life and art.

Watch the video here for the full arc of this relationship.
