Some of us boycotted the inauguration, putting ourselves in a full media blackout. Others begrudgingly watched, scared of what the future will hold. Then some of us, or more specifically one of us, got “Fuck Trump” tattooed on their chest during the inauguration.

The person is none other than queer rapper and political activist Mykki Blanco.

For those of you who don’t know, Blanco is a black genderqueer rapper who came out as HIV positive in 2015. Blanco has been consistently vocal in their opposition towards Trump. In 2016, they even performed Zeo Leonard’s 1992 poem, “I want a Dyke for President.”
