Roughly 15 hours ago, Ivanka Trump took to Twitter to do what her father has yet to do: issue a statement in regards to the month of June, which is also known as Pride month.
And how did Twitter respond? As one might expect.
On the whole, the LGBT community that saw Ivanka's tweet felt that it was more lip service than anything else.
The ridicule, sarcasm, and vitriol continued.
She followed the tweet immediately with another pro-LGBT tweet.
The response to these words was similar to those previous.
Heck, even the star of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt popped in to comment.
