Troye Sivan is coming!
Just one day after the three-year anniversary of his hit song "Rush," the gay singer is now amping up for his next musical era with a steamy new photo on social media.
Sivan's last album, Something to Give Each Other, was critically acclaimed and dived deep into the singer's sexuality. The record elevated his status in the music industry as he received his first Grammy nominations for "Rush" and "Got Me Started."
At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Sivan was already dropping hints on his next era in an exclusive red carpet interview with Out. The singer teased that "I am really inspired by sex. We're going into the studio tomorrow, literally! I feel so proud to be a gay man [and] to be a queer man today more than ever."
Sivan also emphasized the importance of queer visibility through art during a very trying time for LGBTQ+ equality.
"[There's an] unbelievable showing of resilience and strength. I think we have to look out for each other and have each other's backs at the moment," Sivan said.
Besides the sexy music video for "Rush," Sivan also got in drag and performed a lap dance for Ross Lynch in the music video for "One of Your Girls," which had fans celebrating all over social media.
If the music videos weren't enough, Sivan teamed up with Charli xcx on their highly successful joint SWEAT Tour in 2024 and 2025. The tour created plenty of viral moments as they brought out celebrity guests such as Addison Rae, Lorde, Kesha, Tate McRae, and Saweetie.
Sivan's new era is kicking off sooner than later. He's already confirmed to have new original music on the upcoming FX drama series The Shards, which premieres in August. The singer is teaming up with his best friend and longtime collaborator Leland on the new material.
With so much new music on the horizon, Sivan is now stripping down to lace underwear and a leather coat in a spicy new pic on social media. The caption simply says "Soon," which certainly implies that the pop star is gearing up for his next chapter. Check out the photo below!
