Why Kissing a Woman Made Me Cry

Why Kissing a Woman Made Me Cry

It was 1:24 a.m. and I had just gotten home from a date. I was really tired and sleepy, so I parked the car and made a video because I was overcome with emotion.

I had a moment of gratitude wash over me that I think my younger self would have appreciated. I had the most lovely date with the sweetest girl. This was our third date, and she suprised me by driving me to her hometown, which is very near to Los Angeles. We enjoyed chatting on the waterfront. It was so cute.

At the end of the date, we kissed, and as I was driving home, I was thinking how nice it is that I can actually kiss another woman. This is not something I ever thought I would ever be able to do when I was young, and wrestling with the fact that I thought I was a gay person who never needed to be open about that. It always seemed like something I would never be able to do.

Check out my video below and let me know what you think in the comments!
