RuPaul Is the Newest Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Condragulations, Mama!
The Supermodel of the World will be getting his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Earlier this week, RuPaul graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly as America's First Lady of Drag. Now his superstardom will be cemented, literally, on Hollywood Boulevard. “Sweet Cheeses," RuPaul tweeted yesterday evening. My heart is beating so fast right now!”

Walk of Fame committee member Vin Di Bona said in a statement:
"[We] looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world. I know these honorees will remember the dedication of their stars with great memories and will be proud that they are part of Hollywood’s history now and forever."
Ryan Murphy, Jennifer Lawrence, Lynda Carter, Gillian Anderson, Eric McCormack, Shonda Rhimes, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al, Minnie Mouse, Niecy Nash, Mary J. Blige, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Simon Cowell, Kirsten Dunst, and the late Steve Irwin and Bernie Mac are also all receiving stars.
