The pilot is being developed for Showtime. The television adaptation, tentatively titled Rapture, would be told from the perspective of 9-year-old Chester who's coming to terms with his sexual orientation.

There's life after The L Word — Ilene Chaiken, the creator of the fictional series and its reality spin-off, is developing a scripted hour-long show for CBS about a lesbian doctor. Chaiken's show is called Rhodes to Recovery, and it centers around a gay female trauma surgeon and her colleague, a straight male neurosurgeon. One of the doctors begins dating the other's ex-wife, complicating the surgeons' relationship.

Arrested Development co-star Will Arnett confirmed shooting of the cult-favorite series’ first feature film will begin in 2010.
