Bravo’s Project Runway returns for season 20 with an all-star lineup that includes fan-favorite queer designers.
This week on Project Runway, I was enormously pleased to see snarky judge Nina Garcia back in the saddle, but bored to tears by guest judge Christina Aguilera. Seriously, first Lindsay Lohan and now this? At least viewers had "sultan of sequins" Bob Mackie to lend a bit of entertaining levity to the judging panel.
The hit fashion design competition series hosted by Heidi Klum, Project Runway, will  no longer be airing on Bravo after five seasons. Lifetime will begin airing the show's sixth season this summer, after being caught in a legal battle involving NBC Universal, Weinstein, and Lifetime.Â
In Part 1 of the sixth season finale of Project Runway, design mentor Tim Gunn stole the show. So what does that say about the lesbian friendly, all lady final three and their collections? Not much... Find out who was all right and who was all wrong...
Between the juggernaut that is Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin impression and soft-spoken, bespectacled Leanne Marshall claiming Project Runway’s top prize on Wednesday’s episode, it’s the year of the female nerd! Marshall beat out Korto Momolo and Kenley Collins for the title.
When Project Runway moved to Lifetime for the new season, it seemed like a great opportunity to infuse the show with a fresh jolt of energy. Honestly, is it me, or have the designers this season degraded into a bunch of back-stabbing, whiny five-year-olds? I blame it on the elimination of all the fun gay boys (Christopher doesn't count). At least when they bitched constantly about the other designers, it was actually entertaining!
IN OR OUT? Oh, Tim Gunn, will you ever advise again? Bravo and Lifetime need to take a page from the inspirational design daddy and 'Make it work!’ already. The finale of they yet unaired season six capped off Bryant Park’s Fashion week with a fizzle...
One of the reasons Project Runway is so much fun is because it's just so damned unpredictable. I do have to give a shout out to Heidi Klum for her admitted obsession with breasts. Her inability to stop over-analyzing what's happening with the model's breasts may stem from her time as a Victoria's Secret model and not out of a hidden lesbian fetish, but I just thought it was terrifically amusing to count how many times she said "breasts" during last night's episode.
Overall the level of skill on this season of Project Runway has seemed notably higher than in many previous seasons. Until last night, that is. Almost every single designer this week elicited a negative comment from the judges for their design and some outfits were just spectacularly gruesome.
What's black and white and gorgeous all over? Some of the designs from last night's episode of Project Runway, that's what. Gay, West Hollywood native, Johnny creates a steamy situation with his explaination of why he started a second look late in the challenge.
Last night's episode ofProject Runway brought the regular competition to a close with a final elimination challenge. Now three of the designers are on their way to Bryant Park. Thankfully, it's the three contestants that probably most deserved the honor.
The red carpet at The Dinah Goes to Rio Party on Saturday night was hot! Meital, Nina Sky, CeCe Peniston, Fortune Feimster, Tucky Williams, The Real L Word’s new NYC cast and veterans Rose Garcia, Romi Klinger and Kelsey Chavarria, I Hate Tommy Finch stars Shannan Leigh Reeve and Sami Grisafe, Neon Hitch and Chaka Kahn all walked the carpet!

The Dinah 2012 is really going to heat up Palm Springs, CA in celebration of its 22nd anniversary this year! Find out what Club Skirts has in store:
Hurricane Ida may have rained on the Sweet Cruise's lesbian party earlier in the week but it was hijinks on the high seas Saturday with a top-deck, poolside wet t-shirt contest as capping off the party. Funny lady extraordinaire Suzanne Westenhoefer and Sirius Radio's woman with the dry wit, Doria Biddle, hosted and judged the debaucherous event. Dani Campbell, Brianna Stockton and Nat Garcia helped with the ultimage high seas' boob show!
