Definitely not helping squash the dating rumors between the two.

Since 13 Reasons Why debuted on Netflix earlier this year in March, rumors have been flying around about two of the stars—Brandon Flynn and Miles Heizer—possibly dating.

The actors play Justin and Alex on the show respectively, and seem to be very close friends. If you scroll through Flynn's Instagram, it's clear the two are very comfortable each other. We can only speculate their sexual orientation and relationship status since neither have officially come out.

Happy birthday @flynnagin11 You're an angel amongst men

A representative for Heizer quickly squashed the dating rumors in April, telling Page Six, “This is a false report. Miles and Brandon are friends from the show but are not dating.”

But a recently unearthed short film titled Home Movies Pt. 1 is adding more fuel to the dating rumor fire. Directed by Kevin Rios, the video showcases multiple gay men in relationships, celebrates love and queerness, and explores how simply existing can be an act of resistance. Heizer and Flynn star in the film, and share a kiss in an especially tender moment.

The short received an Honorable Mention for the Audience Award at Outfest’s Fusion Film Festival. (Watch it below!)

Even if Heizer and Flynn are just friends, they're creating some beautiful and inspiring work for the LGBT community. Both are set to return to season two of 13 Reason Why, so I'm sure this won't be the last we hear of them!
