Watching cartoons with your kids shouldn't involve finding crudely drawn genitalia in the background of a shot, but that's exactly the situation many parents are dealing with thanks to an episode of the Netflix cartoon Maya the Bee.
At about five minutes into episode 35 of this otherwise innocent animated series's first season, we see Maya the bee make her way through a fallen log. As she exits, she passes a large phallus (complete with testes) drawn on the wall behind her.
As you can see, there's no real attempt at camouflage here. And the image stays on screen for a while:
As you might expect, many on Twitter thought this was hilarious...
Others were pissssed...
But is it really a big deal? Really?
Netflix has quietly removed the episode from rotation, but you can see the footage for yourself here:
