"When you sing like that you better be prepared to what? Duck."

Chris Weaver blew The Voice judges away with his powerful rendition of Otis Reading's "Try a Little Tenderness" on Monday's blind auditions, so much so that Oscar-winning judge Jennifer Hudson felt the need to take off her shoe and throw it at him.

"Where I come from y'all, that's a compliment," gushed Hudson. "When you sing like that you better be prepared to what? Duck."

While Weaver grew up singing in church, he found himself when he discovered drag, and he currently lives in New York where he is a worship leader by day, and drag queen Nedra Bella by night. In fact, his drag mother is none other than RuPaul's Drag Race alum, Sasha Belle.

Seems like Weaver is prepared to bring all of his talents to The Voice stage! Watch his blind audition below.
